Taskroot is a task manager for Mac, iPhone and iPad where tasks are linked by what depends on what. Write to by.tarasenko@gmail.com — questions, bugs and ideas are all welcome, in any of the app's languages.
Drag from the handle on the right of a task onto another task. On the keyboard, select a task and press ⌘ + an arrow to add the next or the previous step. A task becomes available when everything before it is done.
Taskroot syncs through iCloud. Sign in with the same Apple Account on each device and keep iCloud Drive on; new changes appear in a few seconds.
Two projects are free. Pro adds unlimited projects, plans and step suggestions by Claude, and AI assistants over MCP on the Mac. Step suggestions with Apple Intelligence are free on devices that support it.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: open Settings → your name → Subscriptions on iPhone or iPad, or App Store → your account → Subscriptions on the Mac. To restore Pro on a new device, open Settings → Subscription in Taskroot and tap Restore Purchases.
